Casting is not just about finding the right people. It’s about trust. Trust shapes performance, protects story, and determines whether what happens on camera feels real or manufactured. In unscripted environments, especially, trust is the difference between usable footage and moments that truly resonate.
That belief is the foundation of Major Media + Casting.
Based in Dallas, TX, Major Media + Casting operates at the intersection of casting, talent producing, and talent strategy. While we are known for casting standout talent across unscripted television, branded content, and digital projects, our approach goes beyond sourcing and booking. We bring a producer’s understanding of what unfolds once cameras are rolling, where emotional intelligence, judgment, and on-set presence matter as much as the casting itself.
Founder Evan Majors brings a journalist’s curiosity and a producer’s eye to every project. As both a Casting Director and Talent Producer, Evan has spent years as the primary point of contact for talent during production, building trust, managing dynamics, and serving as the bridge between cast, creatives, and network teams. His work centers the human experience while remaining grounded in story, tone, and production realities.
Most recently, Evan served as Talent Producer and Senior Casting Director on Put A Ring On It for the Oprah Winfrey Network and as Supervising Casting Director for Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow Season 2, leading a nationwide talent search and managing casting teams across multiple cities. These experiences inform a talent-forward approach shaped by real-world production, not theory.
While unscripted television remains our foundation, Major Media + Casting also partners with ad agencies, brands, and corporate clients seeking a more thoughtful, human-centered approach to talent. We execute full-scale casting and serve as a strategic partner, advising on talent selection, on-camera readiness, and representation, scaling thoughtfully to meet each project's needs.
At Major Media + Casting, talent is never just a role to fill. We leave talent better than we found them.
Let’s work!
